The May Calendar Is Ready

• One of the things you will notice for much of May is that we are slowing things down quite a bit. We know that the end of the school year can be very busy. Many of our students are involved in a number of activities. To help parents navigate this season, MSC & HSC are taking a short break. Instead of our regular student gatherings, we are hoping to be able to attend some of the year activities that the students are participating in.
• We would like to ‘show up’ at your students' event. If your child is participating in an activity this May, and they would like us to come and see them, please take a minute to email Jay, here, [email protected]. Be sure to include the type or name of the event, date, time and location, cost if applicable, and a contact email address and cell phone of a parent so we can reach out to you if we have any questions. We will do our best to try to get to as many events or activities as possible.

• This first year of Culture 5/6 has been great, but we think we can do more. Plans are in the works to move Culture 5/6 to both the 9am & 11am service for the 2026-2027 school year. But the only way we can make this happen is with parent involvement. We are looking for 8 teams of 2 adults to help us make the next step of growth happen. The commitment is 12 weeks per quarter through the school year, and an 8 week commitment in June and July. We provide the curriculum and the training. Student Culture Move Up

• It’s Time to Move Up. We are looking forward to seeing students move up to the next grade level and the next step in their student ministry journey. Below are the dates when students will be welcomed to the next group.
  • Rising 5th Graders: Students completing 4th grade looking to go into 5th grade in the Fall will move up to Culture 5/6 on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
  • Rising 7th Graders: Students completing 6th grade looking to go into 7th grade in the Fall will move up to Middle School Culture on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
  • Rising 9th Graders: Students completing 8th grade looking to go into 9th grade in the Fall will move up to High School Culture on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Student Culture Goes to Bridge City Church

• Wednesday, May 20th, 7PM. We are so excited to share that Student Culture (students 7-12 grades) have been invited to visit Bridge City Church Student Ministry on Wednesday, May 20th. Recently, some students from Bridge City joined the High School Culture for our worship night. It was a great experience. We are inviting all Student Culture students (grades 7-12) to join us on Wednesday, May 20th, at Bridge City. Students can be dropped off and picked up at Bridge City Church. Summer Culture is Coming:

• The 2026 Summer Calendar is almost ready. We are putting the final details together and plan to release dates and activities in just a few days! If you visit the Student Culture website, we have posted the dates and times for all of our summer fun. 

Big Creek ‘26:

• July 26 to August 1, 2026. Big Creek ‘26 is almost here. Registration is open. Students who are interested in going to Big Creek can sign up. This trip is for students who have completed 9th-12th grade. More details about the trip can be found at: https://www.studentculture.org/big-creek-2026.html

We update the site every Monday with current information for all of the student ministry programs and activities.

SC Prayer Team

• Join us on Thursday mornings in the Fallout to pray for the students and families at BPC, our local schools and staff, and the community and nation. Our goal is to blanket the student ministry and the community in prayer for the entire school year. Everyone is invited to join us.
  • Thursdays, from 9:00 to 9:30 am in the Fallout
  • Our last Thursday for prayer will be Thursday, May 14th, 2026.

High School Culture

February Activities
Here’s what’s happening in February at Student Culture…

Culture 5/6:

• We will continue meeting on Sunday mornings during the 11:00 AM service at BPC. Remember, students are no longer dismissed from the service. Instead, students in grades 5 & 6 can come directly to the Fallout.
• We are still looking for 2 adults/parents to lead the Spring Quarter of Culture 5/6. We provide the curriculum and the training. If you might be interested, please reach out to Jay at [email protected].
• This first season of Culture 5/6 has been great, but we think we can do more. We would love to see it expand in 2026-2027. This would include Culture 5/6 meetings at both services (9am & 11am). High School Culture:

• HSC Big Game Night: This Sunday, February 8th, at 6:00 PM. This Sunday we will gather in the Fallout to watch the Super Bowl. HSC will provide Cane’s Chicken Fingers and Chick-fil-A nuggets. We are asking students to bring their favorite football foods. Things like Buffalo Chicken Dip, Veggie Trays, Cheese and Meat Trays, Chips and Dips, Pigs in a Blanket, Mac & Cheese, Wings, Cup Cakes, Brownies, and Cookies. • The Senior Launch Milestone is coming! Parents and students of the class of 2026 are invited to join us on Sunday, March 1st, for an informational meeting from 10:15am to 10:45am in The Fallout. • Big Creek ‘26: July 26 to August 1, 2026. Big Creek ‘26 is coming. Pre-Registration is now open. Students who are interested in going to Big Creek can sign up. There will be a student/parent information meeting held on Sunday, March 29th, at 12:15pm in The Fallout. • Snacks on Sunday Nights: We are looking for cookies, cupcakes, brownies, drinks, chips, etc. to be donated for our HSC gatherings on Sundays. Middle School Culture:

• MSC Game Nights! On Wednesday, February 5th, MSC will welcome students to our first Game Night of 2026! Students are invited to join us for Minute To Win It Challenge; a night of games followed by a pizza party at the end of the night. Students are asked to sign up so we can prepare for the night. • MSC Game Nights Continue! Game Nights continue into March and April. That’s right, 2 more game nights await students. On Wednesday, March 5th, it’s NERF or Nothing. Students are invited to come out and join us for NERF themed games followed by our 2nd Annual Ice Cream Sundae Bar. Then on Wednesday, April 1st, it’s Don’t Be Fooled, as we celebrate a night of April Fools’ fun before enjoying the return of our Nacho Bar. • Along with the website, make sure you are following our social media pages. We utilize Facebook and Instagram as our primary platforms. Our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/bpcstudentculture) is a great space for parents to follow and stay connected, while our Instagram accounts (https://www.instagram.com/bpcmiddleschoolculture/ and https://www.instagram.com/studentculture/) are more for the students.
